If you :
- are aged between 16 and 25 years old
- are interested in volunteering with young people
- want to utilise your talent and enhance your CV
- live in Northamptonshire
- can commit to 30 hours a week between October 2010 and September 2011
Then vtalentyear could be for you!
Volunteers will be involved in:
- enrichment
- mentoring/ buddying
- study support
- sports clubs
- learner voice/ focus groups
- college events
- open/evening/ enrolment sessions
- workshops
- charity events
- community involvement
You will gain:
- experience of volunteering with young people
- new skills and at least a Level Two qualification
- access to training and support
- help with travel and other expenses (up to £100 per week)
- the opportunity to apply for a personal development grant of up to £1,500 on completion
