Construction
If you are looking to work in the growing area of Construction, our courses can help you develop skills needed for a number of different trades. At Tresham, you will improve your practical skills and work towards a recognised qualification, setting you on the right path for employment in the industry.

You can study construction courses through full time and part time study, or you could undertake an apprenticeship in a number of areas. Courses are delivered by experienced staff in fully-equipped workshops using quality materials and equipment. Depending on your chosen field, you will study at our Wellingborough or Corby campus. The College has excellent links with industry and has helped learners gain apprenticeships with local companies.
Full Time Courses
While full time study is favoured by recent school leavers, it can be taken by people of any age. Construction courses can be taken at Level 1 and 2 and last for a year.Part Time Courses
Taking a part time course is an ideal way to improve your skills and attain a qualification while you are still in employment. The length of courses range from 1 day to 35 weeks and take place either one day in the week or as evening classes.
Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships combine college based study with on the job training. Ideally, you will be already working in your chosen field, although we may be able to help you find suitable employment to get you started. Apprenticeships usually last from two to four years.
