Computing

Computing is an essential part of a number of jobs and therefore a solid understanding coupled with recognised qualifications will give you the upper hand when looking for employment.

Tresham offers an extensive range of computing courses to suit all levels of ability across its campuses at Kettering, Wellingborough, Corby and The Rutland College, Oakham.  Whether you would like qualifications to further your studies in the subject, take an HND in Computing or if you just want to brush up on your basic skills, Tresham's Faculty of Computing will offer the course for you.  Courses can be taken as part of a full time programme, part time or flexibly to suit you. 

Facilities

Tresham provides excellent IT Facilities across its campuses, computer suites and help and support from an experienced IT department.   

Full Time Courses  

Tresham offers full time courses in Computing from Level 1 through to Level 4 (HND in Computing).  Those who wish to remain in full time employment whilst working towards a qualification, may wish to undertake an apprenticeship in Computing.  

Part Time Courses

You may take a variety of courses as part time study such as the computing BTEC HNC over two years and a range of IT Practitioner Systems Support short-courses, specialising in Installation and Configuration, Maintaining Equipment, Networking or Customer Service.

Flexi IT Courses

Flexi IT courses - based at the Flexi IT centres in Kettering, Corby and Wellingborough - offer you the chance to gain recognised qualifications and enhance your CV in a friendly and relaxed environment.  You can learn at your own pace at times to suit you and our professional trainers will be on hand to help and advise you.
