Part Time Art, Design and Performance Courses
Art and Design
Studying the Art and Design BTEC Foundation through part time study is the ideal way to remain in employment whilst gaining a qualification that will set you on course for further study in the area. The Foundation course is the standard entry requirement for most HND and degree level university courses. The programme lasts for two years, requiring two days' attendance per week. Due to popular demand, Tresham is now offering Life Drawing courses in Linear and Tonal drawing. Both are 10-week City and Guild courses, with classes taken on a Tuesday evening.Photography
Photography courses are offered through part time study at 3 levels. You may wish to start with the City and Guilds Basic Level Certificate, which has three start dates throughout the year, before progressing on to Levels 2 and 3 in Photo Image Capture . A ten week course in Digital Image Manipulation has been added for 2009/10 and has three start dates throughout the year.
Textiles
Two ten week courses are now available in textiles: one focuses on machine embroidery, while the other is based on patchwork and quilting. Both courses lead to City and Guilds certificates.
