- A minimum of 1 A Level with GCSE at C or above in English and Maths or equivalent OR
- A BTEC National Diploma with a satisfactory reference and equivalent English and Maths
- A relevant equivalent Level 3 qualification with equivalent English and Maths OR
- Appropriate industry experience

Content
This course is offered in association with the University of Bedfordshire.
This course develops knowledge, skills and expertise for working with pupils, other adults and teachers. It is suitable for people currently working as teaching assistants or in other educational settings with children who wish to work towards a professional qualification.
Progression
This course is designed for those wishing to pursue a career in education or those already working as a Teaching Assistant and would like
to gain a recognised qualification. Completion of this course will enhance your knowledge through practical and theoretical study. Some students may wish to continue their studies with a Bachelor’s Degree and then progress further with a PGCE.
