You will study a range of topics through both theory and practical work including:

  • Health & Safety,
  • Vehicle System Skills
  • Engines
  • Use of Tools & Equipment
  • Basic Vehicle Maintenance
  • Brakes, Ignition, Fuel and Exhaust Systems
  • Steering and Suspension

Functional Skills and the OCNW Level 2 Certificate in Health & Safety will form part of your final qualifications.

Entry Requirements:

  • A range of GCSEs at E-G or above including English and preferably Maths or equivalent
  • An Entry Level course with good evidence of ability to achieve at a higher level.

Entry is subject to a successful interview.

Progression
