Cindy Clipston, 19 - Foundation Degree in Fine Art
Cindy is studying the Foundation Degree in Fine Art after taking her A Levels at Montsaye and the Foundation Studies Diploma in Art and Design at Tresham.
“When I did my Foundation Studies course I fitted in really well and the tutors made me feel at home. I thought it would be better for me to carry on here than start all over again at university.
It’s quite a relaxed atmosphere and a nice learning environment. You are encouraged to work on your own, but the tutors are always there when you need them. Having such a small class makes it a lot easier to talk to them.
It has been excellent here – I really feel like I have developed. I feel that I have adapted well to the level of work. The Foundation Studies Diploma really prepared me for Degree Level study as it showed me what was expected of me.”
Cindy will top up her Foundation Degree to a BA in Fine Art at the University of Northamtpon.
