Alex Still, 18 - NVQ Catering
Alex is studying in his final year of the NVQ 2 in Catering after finishing his GCSEs at Corby Community College whilst working part time in a local hotel.
"I decided to study at Tresham because of the people I work with and the tutors seemed really helpful. You are given the opportunity to go on lots of trips including catering at Ascot and Cheltenham races which is really good. You get treated like an adult here and I have been able to work and learn a lot better because of that."
After completing his NVQ 2 in Catering, Alex plans to work full time at Hotel Elizabeth and would ultimately like to open his own restaurant or hotel.
