Ryan McBlain, 20, is studying the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Media Production. Ryan has progressed onto this course from the BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Media Production.
"Before I came to Tresham, I was studying for A levels but I didn't do as well as I wanted on them. With this course being 50/50 coursework and theory I felt it was a better match for me and I'd do better on it.
The best thing about studying here, for me, has been improving my skills. We've used lots of different equipment which I now know how to use- videocameras, boom mics, Final Cut Pro and lots of other software. I really feel that this course has helped me get to university and I've enjoyed the course."
Ryan will be going to Farnham University to study film production.
