Sarah Walters, 18 - National Diploma Health Studies
Sarah is studying for the BTEC National Diploma in Health Studies after completing her GCSEs at Latimer Community Arts College.
"I decided to apply to Tresham as I liked the idea of having more freedom and having the opportunity to meet new people as well as offering the course that is specific for what I want to do as a career.
I have enjoyed the work experience opportunities and found them very interesting. During the course I have had placements in a nursery, working with children that have special needs, MIND and as an assistant to a midwife.
It is a really friendly environment that offers interesting courses. You have a freedom and trusted with more responsibility to get the work done so your confidence can grow."
After Sarah completes her National Diploma she plans to go to university to study to become a midwife.
