Sarah Mason, 18 - First Diploma Business
Sarah is currently completing the BTEC First Diploma in Business after completing her GCSEs at Raunds Manor and completing a Child care qualification at the college.
"I studied childcare at Tresham before I decided that this wasn't the right career for me so I decided to change and begin a course in Business as it covers a varied area including Personnel.
Tresham has a good atmosphere and is a comfortable environment to study in. The tutors are dedicated to help everyone achieve.
It can be hard to manage your time as I am applying to work in the forces and that involves training in my spare time. I have to motivate myself but I am dedicated to achieve a distinction.
I've learned and achieved a lot this year on the BTEC First Diploma. Any job is business related and the course I have studied will apply to any person in any situation who wants to achieve and have a successful career. I'd recommend this course to anyone because it's a good stepping stone to a career in business."
Once Sarah completes her course she plans to enter the Royal Air Force as a Personnel Administrator using the qualifications she has gained at Tresham.
