Samantha Howells, 18 - Flexi IT
Samantha had worked on a temporary basis as a receptionist before enrolling onto a Flexi IT computing course at Tresham.
"I decided to study at Tresham after it was recommended by a friend, I was already studying a childcare course at the college and decided that it wasn't for me so I enrolled at the Flexi IT centre.
It is flexible so you can pop in when its convenient for you, making it easy to juggle when you work especially as it's open in the evenings.
Although I've failed a few exams Alison, my tutor, has kept me going and has encouraged me to try again and I have now passed with distinction. It is a really good place to learn here and the teachers are always there for you to help."
Samantha now hopes to work towards her goal of working in Administration, a career that she became interested in after working as receptionist. Back to case studies
