Naomi Thompson, 20 - WBL NVQ 2 Brickwork
Naomi is studying Brickwork NVQ 2 through work based learning, attending Tresham one day a week, after completing her GCSEs at Montagu and deciding that she wanted to work for uncle's construction company, MST Construction.
"The other students and tutors are very helpful which makes this a nice working environment. We all get on very well and they have accepted me very well being the only girl on the course.
Tresham is a good college and the tutors are relaxed but still encourage you to get things right which makes learning a lot easier."
Once Naomi completes the Brickwork NVQ 2 she plans to continue onto the NVQ 3 and hopes to progress into management at the right time.
