Talkback Complaint & Praise Scheme

If we've got it right, if we've got it wrong or if you have any helpful suggestions, let us know!

If you want to have your say there are 3 options to choose from.  Whichever option you take you can be sure your comments will be appreciated and dealt with speedily and professionally - just choose the option you feel most comfortable with.  We will keep you updated on how we are dealing with it.  If you need assistance please speak to staff in our Learner Centres or the Contact Centre Team and they will be pleased to help you. Please note that it is College policy not to investigate comments that are supplied anonymously or that contain offensive language.

Option 1

You can speak directly to a member of staff or college manager and they will try to put the matter right immediately. If they can't, then they'll pass the information on to someone who can.  If you are not satisfied with the outcome please see option 3.

Option 2

You can email info@tresham.ac.uk or fill in a Talkback form (located in Receptions, Learning Resource Centres, Learner Centres) and post it in the box provided.  Please indicate which campus you are at and which course you are studying if applicable. You will receive an acknowledgement from the Contact Centre within 5 working days.  Your complaint will be passed on to the appropriate manager who will respond within 10 working days.  If you are not satisfied with the outcome please see option 3.

Option 3

You can contact Mike Welsh, Director of Performance and Standards, who will investigate the situation and respond to you within 10 working days. Email: mwelsh@tresham.ac.uk

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of Option 3 you may appeal in writing to the Chairman of the Education & Standards Committee of Governors, c/o Clerk to Governors. The Chairman will convene a small panel of governors to consider your appeal.  The decision of this panel is final, except in cases where your course is funded by the Learning & Skills Council.  In this case you can contact the Northamptonshire Learning & Skills Council or the Rutland & Lincolnshire Learning & Skills Council.
