Kettering Campus
Our brand new £20 million campus in Kettering is now open and welcomed its very first learners in September 2007.
The four-storey building, designed by Bond Bryan architects, provides a vibrant and contemporary college environment. The heart space of the complex is the impressive atrium that includes a Learner Information and Advice Centre, a Refectory and Coffee Shop, Computer Suites and a multi media Library and Resource Centre.
At the new campus we offer a range of full and part time courses in Business and Administration, Computing, Art and Design, Teaching, Performing Arts, Sport, Public Services, Health Care, Child Education, Hairdressing and Beauty.
The college prides itself on the specialist facilities on offer at the new campus. For creative study there is a 165-seater performance theatre, dance studio, media suite, ceramics workshop and art rooms. Active learners can take advantage of the multi-use four-court sports hall, fitness suite and forthcoming landscaped sports fields. The Define Hairdressing and Beauty Salons are also based at the new campus as well as the Flexi IT Centre for IT qualifications.
Supported Learning Programmes specially created for learners with learning difficulties and disabilities are on offer at the Kettering campus. learners develop the essential social and work skills that build confidence and prepare them for independent living and employment. High level support is provided by skilled and experienced staff in a simulated living area including kitchens, a bathroom and lounge.
Skills for Life Workshop is available to improve basic Maths and English skills and English classes for speakers of other languages.
